Scorpion Grass

Scorpion Grass is a Canadian high-concept novel set in an idyllic, matriarchal utopia that evolved after the "end of men." The society has eliminated food insecurity and violent crime, using psychology instead of policing. This perfect world is shattered when elite psychologist, Jorie, discovers a deep secret that forces her from absolute certainty into deep moral ambiguity.

Although Scorpion Grass is a stand-alone book, it is the first in a planned series titled The Shift. 

Scorpion grass and forget-me-nots are the same plant, representing both a warning and a remembrance.

Scorpion Grass is scheduled for release on October 31, 2026 by Wintertickle Press, a boutique Canadian publisher. It will be available in fine bookstores everywhere.
